SR 43 - In this resolution, the Senate strongly urges the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to manage the rivers to avoid flooding disasters and to re-build the recently damaged levees to their former height as quickly as possible. The Senate also encourages the restoration of damaged productive farmland and encourages the Missouri Congressional delegation to support policies that promote the type of river management that minimizes devastating flood events in the state.
