HB 199 - Under current law, a prior offender of an intoxication-related traffic offense must perform at least 30 days of community service and a persistent offender must perform at least 60 days of service before being eligible for parole or probation. This act requires a prior offender perform at least 240 hours of service during those 30 days and a persistent offender perform at least 480 hours in 60 days. This provision is identical to a provision in CCS/SS/SCS/HCS/HB 430 (2011) and CCS/HCS/SS/SCS/SB 254 (2011). MEGHAN LUECKE
