SCS/SB 788 - This act requires that the circuit clerks for the twenty-second judicial circuit and the nineteenth judicial circuit be appointed by a majority of the judges of those circuits. The circuit clerk shall be removable for cause by a majority of the circuit judges.

This act is similar to HB 1560 (2012), HCS/HB 1256 (2012), HCS/SB 628 (2012), HCS/SB 636 (2012), HB 1025 (2011) and SB 53 (2005).
