Current Bill Summary

SB 841 - Current law provides a limited exception to state milk inspection laws for a farmer to sell raw milk or cream directly to consumers if delivered to them for their own use. The act expands the exception to allow a farmer to sell up to 100 gallons of raw milk or cream per day at a farmer's market.

The act is similar to HB 1351 (2010) and HB 233 (2009).
