Current Bill Summary

SB 844 - Current law requires the Public Service Commission (PSC) to make printed copies available of its findings, decisions, and studies that are of interest to the public. The act allows this information to also be made available in an electronic format.

When a party seeks to appeal a decision by the PSC in the court of appeals, the party must first file a notice of appeal with the PSC but current law does not specify who then files the appeal with the court. The act modifies this provision by requiring the PSC to forward any such appeal to the appropriate appellate court.
