A life-long farmer, Missouri Sen. Brian Munzlinger was born on April 24, 1956, in Quincy, Illinois. He is a 1978 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Agriculture and a teaching certificate in agriculture. Senator Munzlinger and his wife Michele have two children, Clint and Lea, and attend La Belle First Christian Church. Senator Munzlinger is a member of the Missouri Farm Bureau; Missouri Corn Growers’ Association; Missouri Soybean Association; Missouri Cattlemen’s Association; Hannibal and Canton Chambers of Commerce; National Federation of Independent Business; Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity; life member of the University of Missouri Alumni Association and the National Rifle Association; serves on the advisory board to the University of Missouri’s Greenley Research Center and the board of directors for the Northeast Missouri Grain Processors Co-op; and is a former 4-H shooting sports rifle and small bore pistol instructor. Senator Munzlinger was elected four times to the Missouri House of Representatives (2002, 2004, 2006, 2008) and was elected to the Missouri Senate in 2010. Legislative Recognitions
