Current Bill Summary

SB 788 - This act authorizes a charitable organization to conduct sweepstakes using sweepstakes terminal devices located on their premises. A sweepstakes may offer chances to win based on contributions to the charity, but must also provide a method to obtain chances to win without the participant contributing something of value. The terminal device may display simulation casino-type games, but the simulations can have no effect on the chance to win.

This act is identical to HB 1883 (2014) and SB 328 (2013).
