Current Bill Summary

SB 861 - Currently, consumers who purchase new motor vehicles are protected against vehicle nonconformity by the enforcement of the manufacturer's express warranty. Further, consumers who purchase nonconforming new motor vehicles are allowed certain remedies. This act extends these protections and remedies to consumers who purchase new motorcycles.

This act is similar to HB 1517 (2014).
