Current Bill Summary

SB 906 - Currently, the Director of Revenue awards contracts for the operation of a fee office through a competitive bid process for a one year contract term with three one year renewal options. At the conclusion of the four year period new bids are required for new contracts for the fee offices. This act requires that the Director of Revenue award contracts of a ten year term to any nonprofit or political subdivision that is chosen during the competitive bid process to operate a fee office.
