Current Bill Summary

SB 949 - This act requires that fees collected by the Department of Revenue for online license plate renewals that would have otherwise been collected by license offices be paid to the license office in the county where the vehicle is registered. This act also requires that the Department of Revenue notify the license offices on the tenth of each month the fees collected the prior month that will be paid to the license office within five days of that notice.
