HB 1692 - Currently, public water supply districts each have a board of directors made up of 5 members, who are required to be voters of the district and reside in the district one year prior to their election, or if not a voter, shall have received service from the district for one year. Under this act, members of the bard are required to be a voter of the district. Further, all contracts executed by the board shall conform to statutory provisions for such contracts. MEGHAN LUECKE
