SJR 15 - This proposed constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, would require that any schedule of compensation for statewide elected officials, members of the General Assembly, and judges would have to be approved, rather than disapproved, by a two-thirds vote of each house of the General Assembly. The General Assembly is authorized to adopt separate concurrent resolutions to approve the salary rate established by law, the mileage allowances, and the per diem expense allowances. The General Assembly is authorized to approve resolutions for the various categories of compensation independent of any other concurrent resolution filed under this amendment.JIM ERTLE
