SCS/SB 1048 - Subject to appropriation, this act requires the Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide grants to certain organizations that provide services to deaf-blind children, adults, and service providers, as described in the act. The amount of grants awarded shall not exceed $300,000 annually.

This act is identical to SCS/HCS/HB 1696 (2016) and is substantially similar to HB 469 (2015).
