SCS/HB 1577 - This act establishes the Joint Committee on Capitol Security, which shall consist of members of the General Assembly as set forth in the act. The committee shall take testimony and make recommendations on the general supervision and security of the Missouri State Capitol building and surrounding buildings and structures the house members and staff of the General Assembly. Any meeting or report of the committee may be closed for security purposes. This act further provides that the Board of Public Buildings shall have general supervision and control of a state building located at 105 W. Capitol Avenue in Jefferson City, Missouri.
