HB 2156 - This act modifies the Missouri Returning Heroes' Education Act by repealing the expiration date on a veteran's eligibility period. This act also provides that the tuition limitation provided under this program shall be applied before all other federal and state aid has been applied.
The act also repeals a provision that limits the total amount of aid received to the actual cost of attendance.
This act is substantially similar to SB 969 (2016) and to a provision contained in SCS/SB 968 (2016).
