HB 1754 - This act provides that no deed restriction, covenant, or similar binding agreement running with the land shall prohibit the display of political signs. A homeowners' association has the authority to adopt reasonable rules regarding the time, size, place, number, and manner of display of political signs. A homeowners' association may also remove a political sign under certain conditions, but is prohibited from removing a political sign from the property of a homeowner unless the association has given the homeowner three days notice. This act is identical to HB 462 (2015). JESSI BAKER SCA #1 - ADDS THE WORD "DISTRACTING" TO THE PHRASE "OR IF ANY OTHER DISTRACTING MATERIALS ARE ATTACHED TO THE POLITICAL SIGN"
