Current Bill Summary

SB 812 - Currently, the circuit court in any circuit may collect a fee in civil cases not to exceed fifteen dollars which shall go towards the maintenance and upkeep of the law library in the designated county, except that in Jackson County and any circuit court in a circuit which reimburses the state for family court commissioners' salaries the fee collected may not to exceed twenty dollars. This act provides that the circuit court in St. Louis City may also collect a fee not to exceed twenty dollars.
