The Committee on Financial and Governmental Organizations and Elections shall consider and report upon bills and matters referred to it relating to banks and banking, savings and loan associations and other financial institutions in the state. The committee shall also consider and report upon bills and matters referred to it relating to the reorganization, establishment, consolidation or abolition of departments, boards, bureaus and commissions of state government, the internal operation of any state agency and the effect of federal legislation upon any state agency. The committee shall consider and report upon bills and matters referred to it relating to election law.
