JEFFERSON CITY — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews three new laws the relate to ethics reform:
- House Bill 1979, legislation that says lawmakers cannot become lobbyists until at least six months after leaving office;
- House Bill 1983, a measure that deals with political consultants (Audio: Sen. Brian Munzlinger, R-Williamstown, and Sen. Scott Sifton, D-Affton); and
- House Bill 2203, which relates to campaign finance (Audio: Senate Majority Floor Leader Mike Kehoe, R-Jefferson City, and Sen. Jason Holsman, D-Kansas City).
