SB 531 - Under this act, no person receiving services from the Division of Developmental Disabilities in the Department of Mental Health shall have limitations on his or her patient's rights with due process, which shall include the right to be informed of the actions the person may take and timeline for restoration of rights, the right to be heard, and the right to assistance through external advocacy.

This act is similar to HB 1111 (2017).
