HB 225 Allows camping trailers more than twenty-five years old to be permanently registered and be issued historic trailer license plates

HCS/HB 225 - This act provides that camping or fifth-wheel trailers over 25 years old may be permanently registered upon payment of a $52.50 fee.

This act also provides that persons possessing Missouri license plates over 25 years old and issued the same year the trailer was manufactured may register the plates as historic, provided that the combination of letters and numbers thereon has not already been issued to another owner.

Persons registering a trailer pursuant to these provisions shall carry a certificate of registration with the trailer at all times, and such certificate shall be prima facie evidence the trailer has been properly registered and that all fees have been paid.

These provisions are similar to provisions in CCS/HCS/SB 225 (2017), HCS/HBs HB 1400 & 1425 (2016), SCS/HB 1745 (2016), HCS/HB 2757 (2016), HCS/SB 640 (2016), SS/SCS/HCS/HB 2380 (2016), SS/HB 1733 (2016), and HCS/SS/SCS/SB 278 (2015).
