JEFFERSON CITY — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews a measure that modifies several provisions relating to student safety. House Bill 1583 will make changes to the way schools deal with bullying and will create a new method for teaching suicide prevention. The new law will take effect on Aug. 28.
