JEFFERSON CITY- Senator Bob Onder (R-Lake Saint Louis), assistant majority floor leader, today announced the selection of Ryan Nonnemaker as chief of staff.
“Ryan brings a wealth of experience in the private sector and in government, including in the Missouri Senate,” Senator Onder said. “He will be a very valuable member of our team as we go into a truly transformative period in our state’s history.”
Nonnemaker is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and of the University of Central Missouri with a master’s degree in mass communication. He served as legislative director for Senator Jason Crowell from 2009 to 2012. In 2012 and 2013 he worked for the Missouri Senate Majority Caucus as communication director and as policy director. Most recently he has worked as a state director for GoRail. Ryan lives with his wife and son in Lee’s Summit.
Ryan fills a vacancy in Senator Onder’s office created by the departure of Jennae Neustadt, who will serve as legislative director for Governor-elect Greitens. Onder said, “I am deeply appreciative of Jennae’s outstanding and loyal service to my constituents in the 2nd district, and to the state of Missouri these past two years. I cannot say enough what an asset she will be to the Governor as together we work to move Missouri in a new direction.”
