JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, recently added new audio to his multimedia page, which is located on his Missouri Senate website. This page features audio and video links (both streaming and broadcast quality — when available) for visitors to listen to and watch Sen. Emery address issues that are important to him and the citizens of the 31st Senatorial District.
The new audio includes Sen. Emery discussing Senate Bill 190, legislation that seeks to make changes to provisions relating to ratemaking for public utilities. The measure has been voted out of committee and now awaits time on the Missouri Senate floor. He also talks about Senate Bill 184, which would allow water and sewer corporations to request a revenue stabilization mechanism rate schedule authorizing periodic rate adjustments outside of a general rate proceeding. This proposal was heard in committee this week. Senator Emery also discusses Senate Bill 19, the Right to Work measure signed into law this week that will take effect on Aug. 28.
