JEFFERSON CITY — Committee hearings continue into the fourth week of the 2016 legislative session. A couple of measures that are scheduled to be heard this week include Senate Bill 613, which would enact new provisions of law relating to the workers’ compensation insurance premiums of volunteer fire departments, and Senate Bill 646, which would require the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to develop training guidelines and school districts to adopt a policy for youth suicide awareness and prevention education.
