JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Bill Eigel, R-Weldon Spring, discusses Senate Bill 457, legislation that would remove certain roads from the responsibility of the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission and direct certain sales and use tax funds into the state road fund. He introduced this measure on the floor of the Missouri Senate this week. Senator Eigel also talks about Senate Joint Resolution 12, which — upon voter approval — would place a cap on annual appropriations and reduce income tax rates based on revenue growth. This resolution was heard by the Missouri Senate Ways and Means Committee this week.
