JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, discusses Senate Bill 190, legislation that seeks to modify provisions relating to ratemaking for public utilities, and Senate Bill 184, a measure that would allow water and sewer corporations to request a revenue stabilization mechanism (RSM) rate schedule authorizing periodic rate adjustments outside of a general rate proceeding. Both of these proposals were discussed by Missouri senators last week. Senator Emery also talks about legislation that would regulate a prescription drug-monitoring program and would make changes to Missouri’s prevailing wage.
