JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Jill Schupp, D-Creve Coeur, recently discusses Senate Bill 37 and 244, legislation that would allow the Missouri Department of Revenue to issue Real ID-compliant driver’s licenses and identification cards. This measure has received some discussion by Missouri senators. She also talks about Senate Bill 98, a measure that seeks to require all school restrooms, locker rooms and shower rooms — accessible for use by multiple students — would be designated for and use by male or female students only. This proposal has been heard in the Missouri Senate Education Committee. Senator Schupp also discusses Senate Bill 74, which would implement a prescription drug monitoring program in Missouri, and has been given preliminary Missouri Senate approval. She also sponsors a similar measure, which was wrapped into Senate Bill 340. Senator Schupp also comments on recent vandalism done to a St. Louis-area cemetery.
