JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Jill Schupp, D-Creve Coeur, discusses Senate Bill 66, a measure that seeks to modify provisions of law relating to workers’ compensation. Despite her vote against the proposal, the bill has received Missouri Senate approval. Senator Schupp also talks about House Bill 130, legislation that would enact provisions relating to transportation network companies. Missouri Senate discussion continues on this measure. She also chats about Senate Bill 69, which would create new provisions of law relating to leave from employment, and Senate Bill 116, a measure that would allow a tax credit for certain long-term care facilities for a portion of the costs of upgrading emergency generators. Both of her proposals have recently been heard in Missouri Senate committees.
