Governor Greitens visits Caruthersville

On Friday, the governor visited Divine Holiness Outreach Center. Hosted by Pastor Jamie and Deborah Jones along with the youth who attend their after school and summer classes. The gym was packed with students from Charleston, Lilbourn, Caruthersville, Hayti and other area schools. The governor spoke to the standing room crowd about the importance of quality education and how we must focus on our students and families.

Before leaving, he was challenged to a push-up contest. Joined by some students and several Highway Patrol officers it was a super match to see. After many push-ups – the governor was still getting-it-on with the competition. What a great day!
