Senate Bill 22, or the Hazardous Waste Home Acquisition Program, continues to move through the Senate. After being passed out of the Senate Commerce, Consumer Protection, Energy and Environment Committee two weeks ago, the bill has now been put on the Senate calendar. This brings it one step closer to being voted on by the entire Senate. As I have said before, the effects of radioactive waste remains one of my chief concerns and I will continue to do what I can to help the people affected by this issue and ensure that this bill passes.
