Statement from Senator Libla: Offering Condolences to the Wright Family |
Please keep my good friend Billy Pat Wright and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Late last week, my wife and I attended the funeral of his wife, Linda, who passed away Monday, Oct. 26. Linda fought a courageous battle with cancer, and will always be remembered for her bravery and warm personality. Wherever Billy Pat was, Linda was always with him; they made a great team! Billy Pat and Linda dedicated a lot of their lives to serving their community. Linda was a substitute school teacher in Dexter for a while, and was always by Billy Pat’s side when he served as a state representative from 2005-2012. It was nice to see so many people at the services sharing their memories of Linda. I’m proud to have Billy Pat on my staff as my field representative, and more proud to call him a friend. I’m sorry for your loss; Linda will be greatly missed. To read more about Linda, please click, here or on this link, www.mathisfuneralhomes.com/memsol.cgi?user_id=1687135. |
