JEFFERSON CITY — Missouri senators give first-round approval to Senate Bill 237, a measure that would change the definitions of “employee” and “physician employee” in actions against health care providers for personal injury or death. The proposal still needs another vote from the Missouri Senate before it could move on to the Missouri House of Representatives for its consideration.
