JEFFERSON CITY — Missouri senators give preliminary approval to Senate Bill 213, which would establish requirements for certain settlement offers of tort claims which must be accepted within a specified period of time. The measure would still need another “yes” vote before it could be sent to the Missouri House of Representatives for similar consideration. We’ve included actualities from bill sponsor, Sen.
