JEFFERSON CITY — Committee hearings are held on Senate Bill 1096, a proposal that would modify provisions pertaining to what is called the Master Settlement Agreement, which relates to the tobacco lawsuit of 1998, and Senate Bill 1028, legislation that seeks to modify provisions relating to ratemaking for public utilities.
