SB 740 - This act prohibits a defendant from pleading guilty, and a court from accepting a defendant's plea of guilty, until the court has explained to the defendant certain consequences of pleading guilty.

This act is identical to SB 537 (2017), SB 497 (2017) and HB 699 (2017).
