SCR 33 - This concurrent resolution calls upon the federal government to transfer title to all federal public lands within the western states to the state where the land is located, and urges the U.S. Congress to engage with western states to coordinate the transfer. Upon transfer of such lands, this resolution calls upon the western states to cede all National Park System lands, National Wilderness Preservation System lands, and all land used by the military to the federal government. This resolution also urges that if any public land in the western states is sold to private owners, that 95% of the proceeds be paid to the Bureau of the Public Debt. This concurrent resolution is substantially similar to SCR 2 (2017), SCR 62 (2016), and SCR 34 (2015).
