Current Bill Summary

SCS/SB 986 - When a local school board provides information about school health issues to parents and guardians of students in kindergarten to 12th grade, the board shall include information that is identical or similar to that produced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about influenza and influenza vaccines.

This act is identical to a provision contained in the truly agreed SS/HCS/HB 1606 (2018), and is similar to HB 2294 (2018) and HB 952 (2017).
