Current Bill Summary

SB 1061 - This act repeals a provision of law requiring the Highways and Transportation Commission to adopt standards for motorcycle safety education programs which, at a minimum, comply with the standards of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. The act requires the Commission to establish curriculum standards for motorcycle safety education programs, and modifies provisions of law to refer to the standards promulgated under the act.
