JEFFERSON CITY — Most Missouri laws take effect on Aug. 28. There are exceptions. For instance, Senate Bill 8, a proposal that changes the law relating to flashing lights on motor vehicles and equipment, which became law when it signed by the governor on June 28. Senate Bill 16 exempts delivery charges from sales and use taxes. It will take effect on Aug. 28. We’ve included actualities from Sen. Brian Munzlinger, R-Williamstown, and Sen.
