JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri General Assembly approved legislation reforming the state’s prevailing wage laws. By changing how the wage rate is calculated for public works projects, lawmakers hope to save taxpayer resources while making it easier for local communities to stretch their tax dollars further and do more with less.
