JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Mike Cunningham, R-Rogersville, discusses Senate Bill 819, legislation that seeks to modify provisions of law relating to foster care case management and criminal background checks. His proposal now goes to the Missouri House of Representatives, as does Senate Bill 768, a measure that would allow telephone companies to select an alternate method of property tax assessment. He also talks about Senate Bill 820, which would modify provisions relating to broadband communications services provided by rural electric cooperatives. This measure was heard by the Missouri Senate Commerce, Consumer Protection, Energy and the Environment Committee on Wednesday (3/7).
