JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Denny Hoskins, R-Warrensburg, discusses Senate Bill 617, 611 and 667, legislation that seeks to modify several provisions relating to taxation. This measure has been given preliminary Missouri Senate approval. Another “yes” vote would send it to the Missouri House of Representatives for its consideration. He also talks about House Bill 1552, a measure that would require spouses of members of the active duty component of the Armed Forces be given first priority in the processing of all professional licensure applications. This proposal was voted “do pass” by the Missouri Senate Veterans and Military Affairs Committee on March 28.
