JEFFERSON CITY — State senators engaged in multiple days of debate over Senate Bill 564, a proposal to set a cap on how much utility companies can increase yearly rates that also alters the regulatory framework of the Public Service Commission. The Missouri Senate passed a modified version of the bill on Thursday, Feb. 15. It awaits further action in the Missouri House of Representatives.
