Senator Jill Schupp to Host Free Health Care Event Saturday, Sept. 29 in St. Louis County
Flu shots, health screenings, insurance and prescription guidance, and mental health resources, all available to local residents St. Louis – State Sen. Jill Schupp, D-Creve Coeur, is hosting a free health care event on next Saturday, Sept 29, from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Frank Munsch Community Center in Overland for area St. Louis County residents. “Many Missourians and their families struggle to gain access to basic health care services, and this event will help connect people with the care and resources they need,” Sen. Schupp said. “I want to thank all of our vendors and co-hosts for supporting this event and working together to make our community healthy and strong.” The Care Fair event, made possible with the help of more than 40 health care organizations and a bipartisan group of co-hosts from the Missouri House of Representatives, will provide area residents with flu shots, vision and blood pressure screenings, mental health resources, health insurance advice, prescription drug assistance, financial literacy and job information and much more. Event co-hosts include Rep. Mark Matthiesen, Rep. Tracy McCreery, Rep. Mary Nichols, Rep. Dean Plocher, Rep. Clem Smith and Rep. Cora Faith Walker.
