Last week, I presented three legislative proposals for consideration during committee hearings. Senate Bill 914 specifies agreements to receive notice and correspondence regarding portable electronics insurance by electronic means would be determined in accordance with the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. My proposal came before the Missouri Senate Insurance and Banking Committee. Senate Bill 915, heard by the Missouri Senate Government Reform Committee, seeks to modify provisions relating to contingency fee contracts entered into by the state. Senate Bill 951, legislation that would modify provisions relating to hospital regulations, and was discussed before the Missouri Senate Health and Pensions Committee.
