Statement from Sen. Gina Walsh Regarding the Shooting of Two Police Officers in her District

“My deepest gratitude and prayers are with the two police officers shot this morning while protecting our community, and with all the men and women in uniform who protect us each and every day,” said Sen. Gina Walsh. “Thankfully, the officers’ bullet proof vests prevented something terrible from becoming something tragic. We must redouble our efforts to make sure our brave law enforcement officers have the resources they need to stay safe on the job.”
