JEFFERSON CITY — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews the three, non-budgetary items vetoed by the governor:
- Senate Bill 894 and 921, legislation that would have modified provisions relating to education curriculum involving science and technology;
- Senate Concurrent Resolution 50, a measure that requested Congress to replace the statue of Thomas Hart Benton in the Statuary Hall of the U.S. Capitol with a statue of Harry S. Truman; and
- House Bill 2562, which sought to modify provisions relating to municipal courts and ordinances, abandoned property, salaries of Kansas City police officers, treatment courts, court personnel and procedure, judicial retirement, service of process in certain cases and private probation services.
