SS/SB 306 - This act modifies several provisions relating to education for dependents of members of the military. SCHOOL REGISTRATION This act allows remote registration of a student if one or both of the child's parents are being relocated to Missouri under military orders. Proof of residency shall not be required at the time of registration, but shall be required within 10 days of the student's attendance. This provision is identical to HB 365 (2019). IN-STATE TUITION This act establishes that the determination of eligibility for in-state tuition rates at public institutions of higher education for dependents of military members stationed in Missouri shall be made at the time the dependent is accepted for admission.
