SB 457 - This act established the "Medical Marijuana Opportunities Program" within the Department of Health and Senior Services to provide assistance, including grants, to facilitate the inclusion of individuals in Missouri's medical marijuana industry who have been negatively and disproportionately impacted by marijuana criminalization and poverty. The participants shall be Missouri residents who are applicants, prospective applicants, or holders of medical marijuana certificates or licenses. The act creates the "Medical Marijuana Opportunities Fund" for appropriated funds for the assistance provided under this act. The Department shall submit an annual report to the Governor and General Assembly concerning the disbursement of the funds and demographic information about the participants in the program. The provisions of this act shall expire 6 years after the effective date, unless reauthorized.
